The Breakdown:
An asterisk (*) after a film title indicates that I saw it on videocassette, laserdisc,
or DVD.
An entry beginning with "w/o" in lieu of a numeral indicates that I
walked out.
An entry beginning with "zzz" in lieu of a numeral indicates that I
fell asleep for a chunk of the film (not necessarily an indication of the film's
quality).
Right-leaning slashes /surrounding/ a title indicate that I had seen the film
previously in its entirety. Left-leaning slashes \surrounding\ a title indicate
that I had previously either walked out, fell asleep during, or (somehow else)
only saw portions of the film.
Films numbered "sXX" are short films (fewer than 45 minutes long; however,
occasionally I will consider a piece that runs under 60 minutes a short if it
was made for television). Please note I do not write comments about, nor choose
to recommend or not recommend short films.
[~] after an entry indicates I saw an unfinished version (e.g. score not finalized,
not yet color-corrected, end credits missing, opticals incomplete, or any other
deviations from the final release), or in the rarest of circumstances, only a
chunk of the film (i.e. the film broke midstream).
